The George O'Gorman Memorial Scholarship will be presented to a deserving senior who is a member of a Colonial Valley Conference school or Mercer County prep school as selected by the Mercer County Basketball Hall of Fame committee.
The Scholarship is named for George O'Gorman, the long-time legendary sportswriter of the Trentonian who passed away in August of 2018. He is noted and remembered for his coverage of all high school sports but most notably girls basketball, football, and soccer. He was also a broadcaster for WBCB 1040 radio.
